RFID ACCESS SYSTEM RFID Gate Entry Control System – Overview: RFID access for residents is becoming the new standard because of its convenience and its speed in handling up to 3 times the traffic from the same lane as conventional systems. In a typical Gate Entry Control operation, the user / resident is assigned a RFID access card, which is normally attached to the windshield, behind the mirror or on the visor. As the vehicle approaches the gate, the card is automatically read and the gate opens. The user does not need to stop, open the window or present the card, thereby cutting the processing time from a typical 8-10 seconds to less than 3 seconds! The RFID GATE ENTRY system includes unique features for actual "Hands Free" Vehicular Access Control including optional web client module. RFID Access Cards: Regular Users are issued a RFID Access Card and affixes it to the vehicle windshield, back of mirror or visor. Individual Void: Each Card has a unique code that can be voided in seconds. Short Term Visitor Cards: Short Term Visitors can be issued Cards with limited access times and access points. Time Zones: Cards can be programmed to work only at specific times. This Resident RFID Entry control system can work independently or can be integrated with the Guard-Gate Visitor Screening System, CCTV surveillance system and other systems in the community that are part of the facility management and security system family. At the heart of the RFID controller is the smart control panel with a high speed processor, TCP/IP connectivity, memory capacity for 20,000 access cards and 3000 transactions and many other critical features. In addition the RFID Controller includes the RFID Reader, a Directional Antenna that minimizes reading Access Cards that are not in the specified coverage zone, an Interlock Sensor to minimize random reads and interference, 3 calibration LEDs for field testing the system. The RFID controller is designed with a metal back and a fiberglass front available in white or yellow to provide optimum RF operation and comes with a universal mounting bracket that will fit any wall, pole or ceiling installation, and is designed for use in outdoor applications. |
